Mental ill health costs UK employers up to £45 billion each year and as an HR professional and qualified Mental Health First Aider, I’m totally aware of the impact poor mental health has on employee wellbeing, absenteeism and loss of productivity. And the impact these things have on businesses.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance are not only an incredible charity, but they are also HR clients of mine. On Time to Talk day, I joined a number of their wonderful staff to undergo Mental Health First Aid Champion training with Paula Power from My White Dog. It was a really enjoyable day and we all left feeling like we now have a great support network in each other, as well as supporting others at the base.
