It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that when employees feel valued and supported at work, they perform better.  Ensuring that happens in your business doesn't need to be expensive or extensive as it’s usually the little things that make all the difference.  Things like: flexibility around working hours, ability to work from home, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, additional holiday, bringing your dog to work, or having fruit in the office once a week.  Every workplace is unique, but small things always matter.  Employee wellbeing is something I can help with.

Checking in regularly with your teams, reviewing and implementing staff surveys, listening to your team leaders and taking on board ideas, all help an individual stay in their role and give 100%. Occasionally, getting involved in more complicated Employee Relations issues, such as disciplinary or grievance procedures, is unavoidable. Training your managers to manage their team allows them to know their people and how they are performing.
